OUR STORY
Every masterpiece starts with a blank canvas. For Jesus Da Costa, that canvas wasn’t so much blank as it was covered in sound cables, lighting rigs, and a few stubborn hotel management textbooks. From the hum of speakers to the dazzle of wedding lights, his journey to founding Cubeart Weddings was anything but ordinary.
Long before Cubeart was on the horizon, Jesus started his career as a sound laborer and technician—a role that might not sound glamorous, but hey, someone’s got to make sure the music flows. One thing led to another, and soon he found himself DJing and lighting up weddings—literally. Somewhere between his third-year college assignments and lighting wedding venues, the spark of entrepreneurship ignited, and in 2013, a new company was born. The mission? To make dream weddings happen without making the wallets run dry.
In those initial days, Jesus wasn’t just running a company; he was the company. From providing lighting services to every agency in Goa to mastering production and décor, he became the backstage powerhouse for the event industry. By 2018, he decided it was time to step into the spotlight and work directly with clients. Why stay behind the scenes when you can bring the entire show to life, right?
Then came 2020—because what’s a good story without a plot twist? As COVID struck, so did the winds of change. Jesus and his partner parted ways, and while some might have taken a pause, he did what any event planner extraordinaire would do—he launched a vegetable delivery business. (Because, let’s just face it, weddings may have been on hold, but people still needed their veggies!)
By November 2020, the world was ready for celebration again, and so was our founder. He founded Cubeart Weddings, bringing with him years of experience, resilience, and boundless creativity. The name “Cubeart” isn’t just some randomly picked name—it represents the infinite, ever-evolving art infused into every event, from production to décor to the finer aesthetics that make each celebration unique.
Today, Cubeart is a little like a magical factory for weddings and corporate events, except instead of elves, we have a talented team of 70 experts in design, production, client service, and all things event magic. Led by visionaries like General Manager Elston Pries, Designer Sandy Vaidya, Production Maestro Deepak Yadav, and Client Service Guru Saurabh Lavate, we ensure every event—whether it’s a micro-wedding or a luxurious affair—is unforgettable. Jesus, a hardcore production person at heart, is committed to giving luxury weddings to every client according to their needs. At Cubeart, we believe in discipline and enjoying the process—working only with those who match our vibe, like-minded people with creative juices constantly flowing. We always think big. How will it happen, or when? That’s a mystery. But we always think high.
At Cubeart, we believe there’s no such thing as “too big” or “too small”—just “perfect.” We never say “no,” because where’s the fun in that? If you’ve got a wedding dream, we’re here to make it happen. With plans to spread our wedding wings to Jaipur, Delhi, Kerala, and Bangalore, our journey is only just beginning.
So, whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, know this: at Cubeart, we don’t just plan events—we craft experiences with a side of sparkle, a dash of humor, and a whole lot of heart.
Deepak Yadav
Every event tells a story, and Deepak Yadav is the master storyteller behind some of the most unforgettable experiences in the event management realm. With a rich tapestry of experience woven over the years, Deepak doesn’t just manage events—he crafts them, turning visions into reality and ensuring every detail sparkles (even if it means chasing down a runaway microphone or two).
Deepak’s career journey is nothing short of impressive. His expertise shines through in high-profile events like the Godrej Interio Employees Annual Meet 2018 at Taj Ambad, Nashik, and the vibrant atmospheres of the GOA International Film Festival and SUNBURN Music Festival. From guiding the intricacies as an Artist & Backstage Manager for The Natak Co. to orchestrating corporate spectacles like Crossothon and the Asian Body Building Championship, he has become synonymous with excellence in event production (and probably the guy with the best snacks backstage).
As a Production Manager, Deepak has showcased his leadership prowess at various esteemed companies, including a significant stint at Cube Art, The Event Company, where his innovative approach flourished for over two years. His journey also includes impactful contributions at Event Mantra, Kashi Events, and Kabir Events, solidifying his reputation as a go-to expert in the industry.
What sets Deepak apart is his holistic approach to event production. From meticulous logistics to flawless onsite coordination, he ensures every event is a seamless masterpiece. His calm demeanor under pressure and resourcefulness are the secret ingredients that transform challenges into triumphs (though we suspect his secret weapon might just be an extra strong cup of coffee).
When he’s not busy turning events into memorable experiences, Deepak indulges in his love for reading, traveling, and diving into the depths of swimming. A cricket enthusiast and boxing aficionado, he balances the adrenaline of sports with the art of photography, capturing life’s fleeting moments—often with the perfect lighting (and an uncanny ability to avoid photobombers).
With Deepak steering the event production ship, there’s no doubt that every project will not only meet but exceed expectations. Because with him on board, “ordinary” is simply off the table, making room for extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression (and perhaps a few great stories to tell).
